screen-shot-2014-09-09-at-1-11-19-pm

It’s not often that I write about Apple on this site, but I don’t use this blog for anything else anymore so why not? More convenient than squishing everything into one Facebook post. So as many of you may have known, Apple unveiled their latest iPhone today, in not one, but two new sizes. Introducing the all new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The former comes with a bigger 4.7″  screen, while the latter enters phablet territory with a 5.5″ screen. The dreams of every big-screen lover has finally appeared. So let’s get into the nitty gritty details now.

Mobile World Conference 2014

So, one of my midterms is done and over with, and as a quick break from all the studying and working, I wanted to talk about the variety of phones that were announced this year at MWC 2014. Samsung has finally unveiled their latest flagship, the Galaxy S5, and this will mainly discuss that, though I will touch up on the other notable devices released.

https://i0.wp.com/www.bestvpnservice.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/google-play-logo.jpg

Hello everyone! I’ve been gone because I’m a busy college student who should be studying for finals, but I have a special treat for you today. It’s our first ever Super Applications Galore! Today I will be talking about a bunch of apps that I have on my phone, and why I have them. I’ll be posting links to each app so that you can go and check them out if you’re interested. By the way, this will be an Android centered post because I don’t have an iPhone that I use regularly. However, I am trying to recruit someone to do an iOS version of this post, so hopefully things work out. So without further ado, let’s dive right into it.

[News] Jelly Bean 4.1.1 Rolling Out to Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII

It’s finally here, and for once, it’s not completely overdue! Yesterday there was a rumor floating around that the Jelly Bean update for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII would be rolling out today, and true to their word, Sprint has begun to roll out Jelly Bean. It’s quite amazing that a US carrier is rolling out updates so soon after the international variants, but Sprint has earned my respect. Now, we all look towards the other carriers (especially Verizon) to follow Sprint’s example and roll out their own updates for the phone on every major carrier.

[News] New Google Chromebook by Samsung

Hey everyone, what’s up. Recently the new Google Chromebook was announced, and will sell for $249.99 on Monday. Although we have many powerful laptops in the market, some people want a cheap netbook-like device simply to browse the Internet with. The Chromebook gives you exactly that and has deep integration with the Google Chrome we all know and love. I won’t be able to go too deeply into it, seeing as how I’ve never used this device, but without further ado, here is the new Google Chromebook by Samsung.

Hey everyone! We’re back to bring you more news about the world of tech. To celebrate our return, I am proud to report that Google has announced the date of the next step in what we know and love about Android. As a bonus to our return, I will report of some new additions to the Play Store that have happened while we were down. I know that we have disappointed many of you (our 20 total readers), but we’re making up for it by expanding our news base. Anyway, without further ado, here is more on Google.

[News] Nexus 7 + Jelly Bean Android 4.1

Hey guys, it’s been a while since our last post, and we missed this bit of info, but here I am to present this to those of you that missed it. Recently at Google I/O, Google and ASUS announced the Nexus 7 tablet which comes with the brand new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Unfortunately, we have not had the opportunity to go to Google I/O this year, and so this is by no means a first-hand review of the device and OS. Without further ado, the review.

[Phone] Samsung Galaxy SIII

The wait is over, it’s finally here! The long anticipated Samsung Galaxy SIII. It was announced today at the London Samsung Unpacked 2012 event, which you can see a video of for yourselves in a link at the end of the post. The device looks gorgeous, the software seems very very functional, and the hardware will be more than enough to power this monstrous device. Samsung is stressing how this will be a phone “Built for Humans.” This means that the phone will be able to see, listen, and react to what you do. More on the device after the break.

[Phone] Galaxy Nexus for Sprint

It’s finally here, the Galaxy Nexus for Sprint. This is the second carrier in the US to officially have the Galaxy Nexus. I really recommend that you give the Galaxy Nexus a try if you are in range for an upgrade. It is a stock device created in collaboration with Google and Samsung. As a Google developer device, it will be one of the first devices to receive updates to the latest version of Android (except the fact that the carrier may sometimes delay the updates). I actually think that the definition of “being first to receive updates” means that it will get the NEXT version of Android fairly quickly. The minor updates may in fact be very minor relative to devices. Anyway, more about the device…
