It’s finally here! Instagram is finally out for free on the Google Play Store for Android phones. This was one of the most anticipated apps for Android for quite awhile. I’ve only played with it for awhile, but they have a whole bunch of filters that you can use to edit your pictures with. The sharing on this seems very easy as well. Just snap a picture, edit it a bit, then upload it to either Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, or Tumblr. You can also browse the shots taken by other people via the app. I took some screenshots of the app, which you can see after the break.

[App] Instagram for Android
Hey folks, Instagram is coming to Android soon! Many of you have been waiting for a decent app for camera filters and effects, and haven’t been able to find one that really suits you. Stock Ice Cream Sandwich does provide a photo editor, but it’s somewhat basic and doesn’t have as wide a scope of filters and tools. Anyway, Instagram indicated a while back that an Android version was in the works, but no release date was given. While the date still has not been announced, the release is imminent; Instagram has stated that its Android app is in closed beta, and has just launched a sign-up website so that you can be notified ASAP.
